CELTIC last night signed Swiss keeper Benji Siegrist – with Argentinian left back Alexandro Bernabei expected to follow him.
The former Dundee United No 1 was snapped up on a free to provide back up for Joe Hart.
And the proud 30-year-old, left, said: “It simply can’t get any better than this.
“It feels amazing, and I’m really excited by the move.
“I can’t wait to get going and meet the staff, the players, and play for this club.
“I had a call from the manager, he hung up the phone and I think people just knew something good was happening.
“To be here, representing this football team, the colors, the city, it’s a hugely proud moment.
“It’s everything I’ve always wanted, at a top environment, at a top team.”
SunSport revealed last week the ex-Aston Villa keeper – who played 145 games in four years at Tannadice – was on the brink of a move.
He was thought to be heading to England, but gaffer Ange Postecoglou told chief executive Michael Nicholson and recruitment guru Mark Lawwell to make a move with Greek flop Vasilis Barkas on loan to Utrecht.
